The TAPR data download site has a fresh look and several user-driven upgrades!

Based on your feedback, we’ve made it easier and faster to access Texas school and district performance data. These updates are now available for the 2023-24 and 2024-25 TAPR downloads. For an overview of the new interface and its features, watch the TAPR Data Download Site Updates video.

Search by individual campus or district.
TAPR data are also available by ESC region and for the entire state.
The TAPR Glossary provides definitions, describes methodologies, and lists sources for each tab in the TAPR system.
TAPR Glosario: Definiciones, metodologías y fuentes de los datos del Informe de Desempeño Académico de Texas (TAPR, por sus siglas en inglés).
The TAPR Guidelines help districts fulfill their legal responsibilities regarding the annual report of their educational performance and the TAPR.
The TAPR Data Download provides numerators, denominators, and rates in comma-delimited format (.csv), or tab-delimited format (.txt). The CSV file will open in Excel.
Please note that all reports, including downloadable data sets, employ masking of performance data in order to comply with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). For detailed information, please see the Explanation of Masking.
Prior to the 2012-13 school year, TAPR was known as the Academic Excellence Indicator System (AEIS) reports. Those reports, for school years 2003-04 through 2011-12, are available in the AEIS Archives.
While the PDF version of the TAPR includes only major data points and is designed to allow districts to fulfill their public notification requirements, the Texas Performance Reporting System (TPRS) provides additional data in a comprehensive system to help inform stakeholders. Unlike TAPR, TPRS is updated on a rolling basis as data becomes available.
