2021–22 Texas Academic Performance Reports
|While the PDF version of the TAPR includes only major data points and is designed to allow districts to fulfill their public notification requirements, the Texas Performance Reporting System (TPRS) provides additional data in a comprehensive system to help inform stakeholders. Unlike TAPR, TPRS is updated on a rolling basis as data becomes available.|
The TAPR Glossary provides definitions, describes methodologies, and lists sources for each tab in the TAPR system.
The TAPR Glosario provides the Spanish translation of the glossary and will be available January 2023.
The TAPR Guidelines help districts fulfill their legal responsibilities regarding the annual report of their educational performance and the TAPR.
The TAPR Data Download provides numerators, denominators, and rates in Excel, comma-delimited format, or tab-delimited format.
Please note that all reports, including downloadable data sets, employ masking of performance data in order to comply with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). For detailed information, please see the Explanation of Masking.
Prior to the 2012–13 school year, TAPR was known as the Academic Excellence Indicator System (AEIS) reports. Those reports, for school years 2003–04 through 2011–12, are available in the AEIS Archives.
