Snapshot 2017: Tax Rate

Districts are grouped into four tax rate categories, or quartiles, with approximately equal numbers of districts in each. This category shows the 2015 tax rate. For information about the tax rate, contact the Office of School Finance at 512-463-9238. The 185 non-taxing districts (charters and the special statutory districts) are in a separate category because they do not collect property taxes and have no tax rates.
