Snapshot data may be downloaded as Excel (*.xls) or comma-delimited (*.dat) files. The corresponding description file provides a brief explanation of each item in the data files. For more complete definitions of the items, see the Item Definitions.

The download file ‘District and Charter Data Detail’ employs masking of performance data in order to comply with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). Masked values are represented with a missing (.) value.
