District or Campus ID Numbers

All district and campus downloads have as the first column the ID number. This value must be treated as text/character because some applications may interpret it as a numeric value and remove the leading zeroes.

The comma-delimited (.csv) and tab-delimited (.txt) files enclose all text/character columns in double quoates.

Examples:
  • District #: "123456"
  • Campus #: "123456789"
  • Overall Rating: "B"
  • % All Students: 89 [No double quoates because this is a numeric value.]

Slow Download Times and Errors

If you receive an incomplete download or an error message, it may be because the download took too long. Due to high activity and some resource limitations, downloads have been significantly slower in the early afternoon compared to the morning or evening. You may wish to try downloading during non-peak hours. Comma-delimited and tab-delimited downloads use fewer resources than Excel downloads and are less likely to time out during peak times.
